SBI PO Vacancy 2025

The State Bank of India has released a total of 600 vacancies for Probationary Officers posts. Among the total vacancies, 586 posts are under regular vacancies and 14 posts are under backlog vacancies. Here is the breakdown of category-wise vacancies for SBI PO Recruitment 2025 shared below.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2025

Fulfilment of the SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2025 is essential to avoid cancellation of candidature or rejection of application at any recruitment stage. It comprises factors like age limit, qualification, etc. Aspirants must fulfil all the eligibility conditions and submit the online form before the last date to be a part of the recruitment drive.

Age Limit

The age of the candidates must be between 21 years and 30 years as of 01.04.2024 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2003 and not earlier than 02.04.1994 (both days inclusive). The upper age limit of the following categories shall be relaxed:

• Other Backward Classes (OBC) (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes (SC/ ST): 5 years
• PwBD (UR/ EWS): 10 years
• PwBD (OBC): 13 years
• PwBD (SC/ ST): 15 years

Educational Qualification

As per the official SBI PO Notification 2025, aspirants must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent. Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation can also apply provisionally subject to the criteria that, if called for an interview, they will have to submit proof of having passed the graduation on or before 30.04.2025

SBI PO Application Fees 2025

Candidates will have to pay the application fee through online mode by using a debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking/UPI etc to apply successfully for the SBI PO 2025 exam. Aspirants must note that the application Fee once paid will not be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other exam or selection. The category-wise application fees are shared below.

• Unreserved / EWS/ OBC: Rs 750
• SC/ ST/ PwBD Category: Nil

SBI PO Selection Process 2025

The SBI PO Selection Process is divided into three phases such as Preliminary, Mains, and Psychometric Test, Group exercise & Interview round. There will be a negative marking of 1/4th mark for wrong answers in the Objective Tests of both prelims and mains exam.

• Preliminary Examination: The SBI PO Prelims exam comprises a total of 100 objective-type questions for 100 marks and will be conducted online. It comprises questions from the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The exam duration shall be 1 hour.
• Mains Examination: The SBI PO Mains exam will be held online and comprises Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be held immediately after the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.
• Group Exercise & Interview: The SBI PO Phase III round carries a total of 50 marks out of which 20 marks are for Group Exercise and 30 marks for Interview.
