The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board has invited applications from eligible candidates to fill up a total of 4591 vacancies for the Trained Graduate Teacher post. The written exam was conducted successfully on October 13, 2024, and the DSSSB TGT Result 2024 can be announced anytime soon.

The DSSSB TGT written exam comprises 200 objective-type questions for 200 marks from sections like General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Hindi Language, English Language and Subject Related to teaching methodology/B.Ed. The exam duration was 2 hours and there was a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer.

DSSSB Urdu & Punjabi TGT Merit List
The DSSSB Urdu & Punjabi TGT results will be released in the form of a merit list for all the eligible candidates declared successful in the exam. All the qualified candidates will be shortlisted for the further rounds of the recruitment drive.
The final selection and allocation of Departments to the qualified candidates will be made based on their performance in the written exam as per the examination scheme, preference of Posts/ Departments provided by the candidates at the time of the online calling of e-dossier, and their eligibility for the post as per Recruitment Rules(RRs).
DSSSB TGT Cut Off Marks
Candidates must score more than or equivalent to the DSSSB TGT Cut Off 2024 to be eligible for the further rounds i.e. document verification. Various factors are responsible for determining the cut off such as the total number of test-takers, vacancies, marks obtained in the exam, etc. Till the official cut-off is released, candidates can check the category-wise minimum qualifying marks shared below.
- General/EWS: 40%
- OBC (Delhi): 35%
- SC/ST/PH (PwD): 30%
DSSSB TGT Result 2024: Resolution of Tie Cases
If there are two or more aspirants in the same category score equal marks in the written exam, then the following tie-breaking rules will be used:
- Candidates securing more marks in subject-specific section i.e. Section B will get a higher preference in merit
- If the tie still persists, the candidate senior in age will get the preference.
- If there is still a tie, the candidate whose first name comes first in Alphabetical order (in English) will get the preference.
